A satisfied customer at the 2022 Fall Plant Sale
On Saturday, October 1, the Camden Garden Club held its first fall plant sale at the American Legion Hall. The event was a great success and we raised more funds than at our annual spring plant sale.
A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported this event and to our Club members who provided all the plants from their gardens. A special thank you to Lisa, who was our biggest contributor. She was very excited with all her purchases and will have a lot of planting to keep her busy.
The Club established a fund in 1984 to award scholarships to local students pursuing degrees in horticulture, botany, landscape architecture, forestry, environmental studies and related fields. The Club also provides financial aid for children to attend summer camp where campers may focus on nature studies and activities.
